About

Arthur Schwarz is a Swiss designer. His interest for type design grew early in his design practice. He began his studies in 2015 at HEAD/University of Art and Design Geneva, where he earned a Bachelor degree of Visual Communication with honors in 2018. He then went on to study at écal/University of Art and Design Lausanne, graduating in 2020 with a Master in Type Design.

In 2021, he joined the type foundry Production Type in its Paris office. First as a type designer and since 2023 as Marketing Director. In addition to this role, Schwarz is a type designer and has worked for clients such as Vogue, Humane, Crack Magazine, and Swiss Olympic and with multiple entities, including &Walsh, Extraset, Socio Type, Futur Neue, LO-OL Type, Fontef, Neo Neo, Margot Lévêque, Cécile+Roger, Enen Studio and more.
